A tree of sorts

My twig tree in daylight. The glitter paint doesn't show very well, but it needs more anyway. I hung up some of my favorite pieces to see what it could look like: a bird from my sister's old Christmas wreath, a formica tag from an art trade I did with Katie Kendrick eons ago, and some little bits and pieces of mine. I like this idea very much. And it costs nothing. And it's, well, ecological!

  1. I love your twig tree - I have one in my lounge room just with little faery lights on it (I got the idea from Daisy) and I love nothing better than to turn the big lights off and sit with my twinkling faery tree !

  4. pretty! a girl at the trunk show had that same display, but hers were on stripped twigs (my guess from the floral supply)

I think you're right about the glitter-to get the look you want=its gonna need more.

I have a recipe for making them look like they are ice covered twigs...somewhere! it involves borax and every year I say I'm gonna make them and every year I forget until the last minute!
