Save the bees

My brother-in-law is one of the busiest retirees I know. He writes, paints, hikes, gardens, takes care of his extended family, and then there's his passion - bee keeping. He takes incredibly good care of them, to him they are a metaphor for life, and they reward him with excellent honey. For me, he's doing his part in his corner of the world to save Mother Nature.

Save the Bees

Simplicity is the removal of the useless and the unnecessary--source unknown

  3. Thanks, Mary. Actually, he's my brother-in-law, and he lives in Europe, but he's as good as a sibling. I'm lucky.

  4. Colette, I study french and last year I reported on the many bee hives that are on the roofs of Paris monuments, like the Paris Opera, for example. Bee keepers sell the honey in the city, and when I get there again, I hope to buy some. Your B-I-L probably is aware of that. I'm wondering if other cities throughout Europe are also finding unusual places for their hives?
