Vintage stitching

Vintage ticking is one of my preferred fabrics. It evokes those Colonial interiors - the authentic ones - that I've always found beautiful in their simplicity - utilitarian with artistic flourishes like folk art and handmade rugs.

 I started this yesterday. Every single item of this little quilt is antique or vintage. Except the thread!


 And finished it today.
