It snowed yesterday. Last night we had a storm warning. Today we woke up to more snow. I can't tell if it's still snowing or if it's the wind blowing the snow around. It's like that...
I stayed in yesterday, believing that today would be better - ha! but now I see I'm going to venture out in even worse weather. Well, this is Canada, and we know how to deal with this kind of weather.

A foggy day in Toronto Town!
The temperatures rose, the snow melted and the fog settled. The doorman let me know that the whole Eastern Seaboard was under fog. Still, you could see enough to move around.

At least there was no wind. Wind in the winter means wind chill.

 The last few days have been Spring-like and Nature is a little confused. I think I saw some buds on a couple of trees... we are going back to Winter in the next day or two, so those poor wee buds will probably die. I'm not sure what to make of it. What I am sure about is the headache I have from the wild barometric swings.

Meanwhile, I came across this photo of a watercolour I did in my early art days. Crocuses, Spring....

Right now the weather dominates: sturm und drang, with extraordinary sound-effects. And flashes of lightning. And rain as dense as a gauze curtain. It begins like this:

Grey skies

The grey days continue like some kind of gestation period, and maybe that's the purpose. I think the seasons are a little confused right now, like the little wind that's blowing here and there, not really knowing where to go. Since there's no sense to push against it, we'll just flow with it, and wait.
