 The Angel in the Corner.

This painting was inspired by words I read a very long time ago that always stuck in my mind. The book was by English author Monica Dickens (a descendant of Charles Dickens), whose title I forget. The lines were: ..."the little Angel Gabriel in the corner..."

I've lived with her for a while, and now it's time for her to take flight. Newly listed in my Etsy shop.

Simplicity is the removal of the useless and the unnecessary--source unknown

  1. A lovely painting; i love the wispiness (is that a word?) of the angel.

    1. Yes, wispiness describes it well. It may not be a word but I like it. Many thanks.
