Life goes on

It's a bright, sunny, cold and invigorating day.
This quiltie (detail) has a lightly stuffed heart. It makes it 3-D but no glasses needed!!!
I find that more and more I'm sewing my quilts by hand rather than machine. I like the quiet rhythm of it.

    Love this quiltie, Colette with it's 3-dimensional quality. My son also prefers to hand-stitch almost everything he sews too :)

    I find hand stitching very meditative.... It relaxes and focuses me. I find balance in it... BTW your quiltie is lovely...

    a joyful piece. the music sheet background is interesting..draws you in but does not over take the sweet heart.
