I painted today. No mixed media, no collage, just paint and paper.

Tomorrow is a civic holiday, and I'll be going to St. Jacob's with some friends of mine. St. Jacob's is a little Ontario town west of Toronto, with a farmer's market, antique shops, a quilt gallery, a Mennonite museum. Like that. I'm looking forward to taking the day off and going somewhere interesting.

  1. Love this painting... I've been "just painting" lately too, although I have been experimenting with backgrounds... I've found I love oil painting...

  2. Oh, I haven't painted in a while... this makes me want to get back to it.
I remember visiting St.Jacob about 15 years ago. It was interesting. I mostly remember how quiet it was compared to my hometown. Enjoy!

Enjoy your day , sounds like there's a lot to pack into one day , my favourites would have to be the antique shops and quilt gallery , I hope you come home with some lovely finds.

  5. This is wonderful Colette. It simply glows. No wonder someone snapped it up ASAP.
