Friday's child

Headaches? Sleeplessness? Here's a natural way to tackle these conditions.

The Seminole use bay leaves. They smudge them, but because I didn't want to set my very sensitive fire alarm off, especially in the middle of the night, I boiled a handful of bay leaves and inhaled. My budding headache disappeared almost instantly. I said a quiet prayer of thanks that a handful of Seminole was able to survive the massacres in their Florida home, and are still around today to pass on their knowledge.

  6. Wonderful post ~ thank you for sharing. I work with Inupiat Eskimos here in Alaska. They are a dear people, with ancient traditions slowly passing away as their elders leave this earth. There is much richness there to remember and carry on.

  7. What a great piece of art and wonderful information...sometimes I think the native peoples knew more in the past than we have invented in this "future." Cheryl
