My mom's been gone almost 20 years. I can't believe it. My sister and I spoke on the phone today and talked about how much we miss Mom and how fun it would have been to take her out for lunch today. Although I am a mother too, and my husband and my daughter honored my day, I spent most of it thinking of Mom. Yes, let's celebrate their lives every day.
