What a difference a day makes

There is nothing like a good night's sleep. After 48 hours of wakefulness, I slept like a log.

Yesterday's warm sunny weather has turned into a damp, wettish day, the kind that announces nature's reawakening. A pair of Canada Geese flapped past my balcony...Welcome back...and all is well with the world.
This is me and Cleo a year and a half or so ago in my sister's kitchen in Texas. She is now too big to carry -- Cleo, that is. Hello, Cleo, I miss you. Woof!
