My headache-ridden week has left me washed out and tired, not least because I continued working ( which I do because I want to, not because I have to). This morning I woke up with a headache that mercifully dissipated after my cup of coffee. It snowed lightly, but enough that I will have to wear my boots -- for the first time this winter. I have some work to finish at the office today, then I plan to have a restful evening, good food, hot chocolate, curled up on the couch watching TV. I will try not to get up every 10 minutes to "do" something!
Colette - how about a lovely foot soak? it may help soothe your head. Also tissue salts are wonderful. I am not sure if you can get them over there but I take a tissue salt for headaches and it works. as does my homeopathic rememdy. xoxo ~ hope you feel better soo
ReplyDeleteSounds like a brilliant plan for your evening...I have read where rose oil or essence is excellent for headache relief and soothing for what ailes. Rubbing a little of the oil on the temples will do the trick. Just smelling a fragrant fresh rose is supposed to ease head pain and refresh. It has helped me. Although fragrant fresh roses from the garden are in short supply here in January. :( I hope you have a headache free week. This college is lovely Colette...it has an important message. xxxxooo
ReplyDeleteHope you had a chance to rest. This is absolutely gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteHot chocolate and snow while resting...great idea!
ReplyDeletesounds like a lovely way to spend your evening. headaches are so annoying and strangely I've found coffee to help too in some cases. I hope that was the last of yours for a long time.
ReplyDeleteas always, your work is delicious!
XOXO
This is beautiful,Colette -- definitely a favourite of mine! I haven't left the house at all for 2 days, so the snow will be a "rude awakening" tomorrow. Let's get together soon for tea.......
ReplyDeleteLovely collage! Hope you did have a relaxing evening - I know what you mean about getting up every ten minutes to "do something." This is the curse of the creative mind. :)
ReplyDeleteAny chance that your headaches are sinus related? I have a terrible time with the sinus headache every morning in the winter...I treat it during the day but at night every thing "seals up " and throbs again!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!
