I enjoyed a headache-free day today, which was just as well since I had to go in to the Medical Post and work. I like going there though; and there's always Advil (and Aspirin and some generic stuff) on the managing editor's desk, if I need it! I also use an essential oil preparation which always gives me some relief (I think Pam mentioned it in a comment). I have two of them: one in my backpack and one at home. I also managed to mail some personal correspondence before the postal rates go up next week, and make a couple of new things for my shop.

On the way home, I stopped at one of my favorite shops, a wonderland of French provincial, shabby chic, and absolutely gorgeous and really old vintage flowers, and where, naturally I can't afford anything. They were having a sale, and outside on an oldgarden bench sat some bird's nests, large ones measuring about seven inches in diameter, and boxes of eggs, about an inch long-- real ones!

and OH MY what wonderful finds..REAL eggs? I love shops like that and finding the unexpected (and affordable) treasure. The eggs must be so fragile...the photo of them is a piece of art in itself.

  6. The eggs are beautiful just as they are. The patterns and colors are simply forgeous. The bird's nest looks as if it has pussy willows twined in it. All your finds are lovely.
