No production this week at the publications I work at, which is very considerate of them as I dearly need time to take care of my own business, and get my Christmas cards and packages moving. Of course, I don't get paid while there's no production, but sometimes it's a balancing act.

It is very strange to hear of the west coast blanketed in snow and ice, while here in the east, we have early-summer-like temperatures, rising to 17 Celsius by Thursday. I would sit back and enjoy it if I weren't terrified at the abnormality of it. In 50 years, I'll have long shuffled off the mortal coil but what about the children -- will they be living under glass domes because the powers that be just keep on polluting the atmosphere? I hope not, I pray not.

  2. This is a very beautiful piece.

I know how strange it can be to have warm temps during the holidays. It's sunny and in the high 70's today in L.A. I wish it were cold.

  3. Girl..it was 80 degrees here today and I sweated my arse off! I work part time in our outdoor Market in Charleston ..today it was slow so I sat and tried to make some Christmas cards...hard to get in the spirit when it feels more like the 4th of July! I adore your bird card!

  4. Beautiful sparkle birdie! t Yes...the weather is very strange. Yesterday it was 70 degrees and felt like spring here. Today it is 20 and raw, cold winter. You are right to be worried about the children's future on this planet. Very scarey.
