An old painting gets a do-over.

I recycle paintings that I don't like anymore. I use rubbing alcohol to remove most of the acrylic paint, then begin again.

A big brush and lots of black, then a warm yellow in the spaces left.

An enso in pale pink, reinforced with black.

Orbit, acrylic on canvas, 12x12 in. // 30x30 cm.

Simplicity is the removal of the useless and the unnecessary--source unknown

  2. Thanks, Julie. I discovered that by accident, a sort of what-if moment. Wet a rag with it and scrub. You can lift off a little paint, or most of it.
