One of the perks of working for myself is that I can take time off during the week and work on weekends.

This weekend I worked on a commission, a hand-stitched floral made with mostly antique fabrics, with the addition of vintage buttons.




On Saturday, I cut the first petal free-hand, then used it as a template.


 On Sunday, I stitched it all together.
