I made these art patches as part of a project for GreenCraft magazine (Spring 2016 issue).
I have pieces of a cutter quilt, some thin and some thick. I made the thicker pieces into brooches, but the thinner ones are perfect for making patches for other projects. I use them on greeting cards, and on my little cross-body bags. They have returned home and are now in my Etsy shop, except for a couple that I've kept for gift-giving.

these hearts of many years gone by are sweet as you have given them new life. i always wonder about who made these old tattered quilts, what there life was like.
