A Bird in the Hand

Some time ago, I bought a pad of sturdy brown paper placemats because I liked the design and I wanted to use it in my artwork. I used it to make envelopes, and as wrapping paper.

Then I experimented with paint and ink. I cut the paper in two and used them separately. Then I put them together.

Simplicity is the removal of the useless and the unnecessary--source unknown
