Finished.

I rearranged the background, adding a snippet of pure wool fabric to the lace and an old button, and glued on the scissors. I couldn't find any E6000, but I did find an epoxy for metal at the art supply store.


 It was time to finish this painting, too. What it needed came to me in the middle of the night. The next morning, it looked like this.








Simplicity is the removal of the useless and the unnecessary--source unknown
