The American artist died yesterday at age 83. I love his work. I believe he invented the scribble in artwork. Certainly he used a lot of writing, some illegible and some pure poetry. This is my tribute to him.

What a nice tribute. I saw some of his work in Chicago several years ago and think of that often.
