Fridays' Child

Today the laundry will get done. It has to be done on weekdays because the laundry room gets crowded on weekends... On days like this I wish I had an outdoor laundry line. Two days ago, it was warm enough to go out in just a jacket. Today is sunny and windy (perfect for laundry!).

Now that I've put you to sleep with talk of laundry and weather...... I wanted to do something different: a piece of cardboard that I used as a table top easel (hence the paint marks), a piece of cotton that was coffee-dyed, a stapler, and paint. I found out that I dislike painting on fabric, but maybe that will change.

Simplicity is the removal of the useless and the unnecessary--source unknown

  5. As I am hip deep in laundry and my outdoor clothes line is not up yet, i get what your saying. Fabric paint can be hard to work with..it's thick and has less flow. I don't know the brand you are using but i have found if the fabric is a bit damp with water the paint bleeds and flows better.
