Small heavy kraft paper bags are very versatile. I cut out the sides to use for backgrounds, and the top makes a perfect hanger for a stitched paper collage.

These little velvet buds add the perfect touch to a mini-quilt. I got them from Stampdiva.

  3. There's that beautiful purple velvet ribbon again, and those bag handles are perfect and indestructable used this way.

  4. thank you colette for the kind anniversary wishes! I remembered you said your wedding anniversary was in June, but could not for the life of me remember when in June!! so our days are pretty close together! we are both June brides! there were many June brides in my family, both of my grandmothers, my mother, both of joe's grandmothers too! hope all is well with you, got real hot in Lincoln today (100 degrees!) so with that said joe took me swimming. I have been recovering very well from my surgery, no pains anymore, able to do my normal activities again, just generally feeling much better! Love ya! and joe says thank you colette! (i showed him your comment on my blog)
