Yesterday, after a few hours' work dowtown, I drifted over to Yorkville and into Anthropologie. I go there once in a while mainly to look at the props. As I wandered around I came across this little number, and it occurred to me that I work so hard and I do a good job of staying within my budget that surely I could give myself a gift. I tried it on in front of a huge mirror and I decided I would have it. I love everything about it, and I know I will wear it a lot. My wardrobe is small, but it contains clothing I really, really love. I believe in quality over quantity.

  8. You are absolutely right about Anthropologie. The best props ever in retail but I love their catalogue they mail out each month. I save them all because the photography and sets are remarkable .... just like your new shirt.

    Just beautiful...
I would wear this to death too , wish there were more little 'cover-up' tops like this around ,they're so useful and it helps if they're as gorgeous as this one .

A charming purchase, and it looks like a monochromatic watercolor painted by you. And I believe you DO deserve to have it.

(I've never gone into an Anthropologie shop? I'm afraid to!)

  20. I absolutely love this piece!!! I agree with you completely about quality over quantity! I just may have to check out Anthropologie's online site-- apparently we aren't "cosmopolitan" enough to have one in our town!
