Django. 1995-2009

My precious canine friend, Django, is gone from us. I am heartbroken. I cannot believe I won't see him again, that he won't be bounding in the front door and heading for his water bowl in my kitchen. I love that dog; we had so many great moments together, he was such a joy. He lived a long and very good life, loved and cared for by his doting family (who are feeling his absence very deeply), but I'm still utterly heartbroken. I couldn't even look at his bowl this evening without dissolving into tears.
He will be sorely missed. And the bowl will stay where it is until I'm ready to remove it.

  6. I'm so, so sorry. I have walked this road before. We lost our precious Terra last November (a border collie/black lab cross) and our dear Madison (black lab) back in '98. I truly understand how much this hurts. I hope the good memories at least bring you some smiles through the tears.

  8. It's so hard to lose a beloved faithful friend. I know exactly how you feel. It's heartbreaking and it takes time to be able to think of them without crying. I wish you all the best.

  10. My cat that I had for 12 years died in May, so I know what you're going through. I cried to when I saw his dish, and I cried when I put it away. There's nothing easy about it. Sending my thoughts your way.

I lost my Nika two years ago. I still miss her. They touch our hearts forever....if they could only live longer.

I now have two more doggies....I can't live without a dog.

    Hugs to you.

  14. Oh I am so sorry about your Django. My family pet member Chorizo was with us for 14 years as well. She left us October 14, 2007 and it will be 2 years this October, but it's still like yesterday. I miss her so much. She was the love of my life. I know what you are going through. So sorry. Remember that Django will always be with you in spirit.
