Friday's child

A good week. Two articles written and sent, and finally, collages with the tintype photos I've been hoarding. Not really hoarding, but waiting for the right piece. Sometimes you have to learn new techniques to be able to use what you have. So if instinct tells me to buy certain supplies, I do, knowing that someday I will find the right place for them. I think this is why I love making art -- the possibilities are endless, and as those who know me know, I have to have variety. It keeps me fresh and happy!

    Hello fellow Canadian!!
First time (I think) I come to your blog and I love your work. I so know what you mean about just buying pieces that you know you will use - you don't always know how you'll use them but somewhere in your brain that little piece is working its way in to a final piece of art that you final get down on paper, or thru paint, or collage or ribbon or whatever. Love the simplicity of some of your things. Stop by my blog if you get a chance.
