After we finished work, and I was given a feature story to take home and translate, my friend and now-former managing editor took me to the Bloor Street Diner for a relaxing glass of wine. The wine was a very good Italian red (I forget the name) accompanied by bruschetta and lots of good conversation. For all the years I've worked in magazines, there's never been a staff where I've made good friends as I have at the Medical Post. That's the silver lining, and of course the translation work, even though it will be once in a blue moon.
I made something different. I'm not a doll maker; I leave that up to the ones who know how better than I. But I did make this one, using a Catherine Moore stamp.
It's a good day.
Sounds like a lovely day! xo
