As it happens

I've been trying to capture where and how my ideas come. I made these (Bird Lady and friends); instead of putting them in a box, I wanted to do something different. Lightbulb went off: antique Japanese kimono pieces...bundle...what are you waiting for? Then I thought definitely I should add a taglet, tie it to the velvet ribbon, but instead my hands went over to a corner of my table and picked up a feather.

Can I explain how this happened? No. It just does.

This asssemblage has been waiting to be ... assembled. The cabinet card was missing its bottom half, so since it had already been cut, I trimmed it further. Then, shades of Ms. Perrella, this happened.

Do what you love, and the money will come. Or so they say, and may be it true.
