Sunday and the sun is out

[Winter Bird (c) colette copeland, available on eBay]

Paint migrates from paper to fabric. I found the huge sheet of corrugated paper I got at the art supply store a long time ago and promptly forgot about, and used it as the background to which I stitched all of this, then wielded my paintbrush. I liked the effect so much that I started a series.

Have a peaceful sunday.

I really love this! I've liked the "all white" look for literally decades, and it hasn't changed! The eyelet embroidery looks hand done... something I'm exploring with my Civil War reenacting. I haven't visited your blog (or anyone's) in a while, and this reminds me to start doing it a lot more!
