Irish Debut

I received a letter today from Ireland that sent me to the moon and back. I am so thrilled/honored/screamingly happy. The Central Bank of Ireland (no, not a commercial bank, but the country's "Treasury" - think Bank of Canada or Federal Reserve in the U.S.) has invited me to submit a couple of pieces of art for their December show.
This means more to me than anyone can imagine. My late husband, John, was a rising star in the economic world when he was felled down at a very young age, many many years ago. He was an economist at the Central Bank of Ireland and much loved and respected. For my art to hang on the walls of this building all these years later is too emotional for me to describe.

Thank you!
