Part Three


And so to family gatherings. A barbecue at the farm, a treatment from my nephew Adrian, a physiotherapist, who got the cricks out of my neck pronto! A visit with neighboring farmers who remembered me. As for me, people came slowly into focus; at first I couldn't remember them, then slowly, it all came back. I stayed the night at Huntingtown, my brother-in-law Ned's farm, and basked in the usual warm welcome he and Valerie and all the family fill me with. I reconnected all over again.
