[assemblage on canvas (c) colette copeland]
I have several projects going, and this is one of them. Now that it's composed to my satisfaction, I have to afix it all together... The old glove is from McKinney, Texas, where my sister takes me antiquing. I would have kept them for myself, but like most of those old gloves, they are too small. So I decided to turn them into art.
But first, a cup of cofffee, because afixing is not my favorite thing to do, not at all.
Have a brilliant day!
I do love the layout of your piece. I was excited to see you post your glove was from McKinney, Texas. That is where I live and I love going downtown to the square and shopping in all the little antique stores and having lunch with my friends. Which store did you acquire the gloves? Do you remember?
ReplyDeleteThis is outstanding..... it's almost as if someone left behind a bit of themselves on a dresser top.
