Sleep, the great healer

This painting is from my angel series done on big canvasses in acrylics.

Yesterday I felt unwell. Around midday, my body forced me to stop. I felt sick, so I took some Gravol and spent the rest of the day and evening dipping in and out of sleep on the couch. Eventually I went to bed and slept right through to morning. When I woke up, all the discomfort had gone, but my back was stiff. That's being remedied as I stretch and move around.

  4. I love how you can put splotches of colour onto canvas and it looks like an angel! if I did that,it would look like splotches of colour on a canvas...maybe yours looks like an angel because you paint with angelic hands xoxoox

don't forget peppermint or ginger tea is good for those upset tummies... so is chocolate, well, I think ;)

hope you are feeling better, sometimes that heat can take alot out of us..xoxo

    Hi Colette,

Hope you are feeling much better. Nice to know that you listen to your body and you are having some cat naps to re-energise.

Love the art of late (and the new header - or have I just not been terribly observant of late).

  7. I hope you are feeling better dear Colette!!
The painting is fabulous, very ethereal in a more colorful way. I think the angel resides inside you and just manifested itself as you moved the brush about the canvas!
