[acrylic on canvas, (c) Colette Copeland, collection of Carol Ferguson]

There is no end of things in the heart.

If you take something to heart, really brought it inside those velvet folds, then it is always there for you. No matter what happens, it is there waiting. It can mean a person, a place, a dream. A mission. Anything sacred. It is all connected in those secret folds. always. It is all part of the same and will always be there, carrying the same beat as your heart. -- Michael Connelly, "Lost Light"

  1. WOW Colette, this is spectacular! It looks as though it is in Greece. I am so partial to the blues and white and the feeling you could just reach over and move the curtain aside.
    XOXOXOXO

  3. This so beautiful ( the painting and the words)! Do you have some Greek in your soul too? It reminds me of that island called Mykenos, with the white houses and blue sea and sky. You captured it. :)
