Friday's child

It's been the week of electronic mayhem. Upgraded programs are becoming more complex and confusing, giving you a host of additions that you'd never use anyway. The worst part is that the older programs are made obsolete so you can't get them anymore and you're forced to get the new stuff, which of course, costs more money. I sometimes think that making a previous program obsolete is just to force money out of you, and to me that's just unethical.
Then I opened a certain program to design and print new business cards, and the "new" program wouldn't talk to the old one (where my files reside) so I had to start from scratch. Both programs are made by the same company, the one that monopolizes everything... It's enough to make you turn to drink!
Anyway, I managed to get everything back to a place where I'm comfortable using my computer again, and no sooner had I done that, a friend dropped in asking if I could help with getting the contacts on his old phone to his new phone. We managed that too.
Suffice it to say that I have a love-hate relationship with electronics.

One antidote: visualize something like this photo and get calm.......
