It's no secret that I like to work with cardboard....



But I've never used it for direct painting until today. 

 I applied several layers of paint, letting each layer dry completely.



Here I painted wet on wet. I used a palette knife and the texture of the cardboard came through, creating a nice effect.






Simplicity is the removal of the useless and the unnecessary--source unknown
