So this made me very happy.

I love dogs and have some favourites. One of them lives in Australia and is a rescue dog, now living the good life thanks to my friend. I've seen many photos of him and decided to try my hand at drawing his sweet face.

I drew and painted it in watercolours, in my own style, and think I caught his essence if not his complete resemblance.

I sent it off as a surprise and today it arrived, and here's the proof.

    1. She was! She understood the butterfly (transformation from an abused dog to a happy one).
