When I'm painting I usually dab my paintbrush on a paper towel, then I throw it away.

I was out of paper towels, so I used a piece of dropcloth. I noticed that there was a pattern forming, so I filled in the blanks with a brush, my finger, and bubble wrap.

And now I have this.

  1. upon occasion the brush dab, finger dot, cleanup cloth becomes a treat in its self. Like yours!! a new direction. I have a fat quarter near by or for larger paintings i have that cloth waded up in my non brush hand. yours are charming .

  3. I love this! It's funny how we throw away random pieces of would be art. Nail artists do the same thing!
