 My good friend Carolyn Saxby has posted the first part of a tutorial here. She does beautiful work, and this project appeals to me  because it uses what you already have, all the scraps and leftovers that you never want to throw away.

I was also thrilled to see my little owl friend take a bow on Carolyn's post.
