This was the scene today:

The Highway of Heroes/Autoroute des héros as the hearse carrying Cpl Nathan Cirillo's body heads home to Hamilton. (Soldiers who die overseas are driven down this section of the Highway. There is always a turnout on the bridge and the side the of the road to honour their passing.) Cpl Cirillo will be given a full regimental funeral on Tuesday. Funeral arrangements for Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent, who had also served as a military firefighter, have not been finalized.

  1. Oh dear the tears are flowing. Our own bit of the world had a very sad day yesterday with the shooting and death of two officers and separately the killings at yet another school. Prayers and Healing Energy for our World...
