I make greeting cards the way I make anything else -- collage, stitching, adorning. I think of the cards as small, one-of-a-kind artworks that the receiver will want to keep.

I had a hard time with this one because it involves an antique postcard that had just as interesting back to it -- writing, postage stamp -- and if I use one side, I lose the other. So a choice has to be made. This postcard was embossed and that won out in the end.
