A Bird in the Hand

I admit to some trepidation when I cut a section from a delicate antique piece of Japanese silk that had been loving mended and stitched with patches. But this is what I do: give new life to fabrics that would otherwise get lost. I used the reverse because it shows a patch on the right side.
