Taste of Summer.
The cherry season has passed (goodbye, my luscious friends), and the field tomato season is in full swing. Slice it, season it, drizzle a little olive oil over it, and it's as good as dessert.
Dessert is usually fruit, and I'm very partial to fresh dates.
And my latest discsovery, a nectarine crossed with melon. Not bad, but I don't see the point. I prefer them separately. Combining them loses something in taste.
Eat well, my friends.
Simplicity is the removal of the useless and the unnecessary--source unknown
