The temperature has dropped and the wind is up. The birds are confused. And I'm indoors. Before cleaning up my work table, I thought I'd show you what it looks like after I've made my monoprints. The masks pick up the background paint and the effect can be quite beautiful.


 I made a monoprint of a pomegranate for a friend, and used the mask again to make this blue one. I overworked it with white pencil and splatter.







Simplicity is the removal of the useless and the unnecessary--source unknown

  1. Your prints have intrigued me and a local scrapbooking store Frenzy Stamper is having a workshop soon. I think I will give it a try. In the mean time, I ordered a bunch of supplies from Stampington and some of your stamps. I cannot wait!!!!!! Unlike you, I am hiding from the heat and crafting. It's a 3 months straight of temperatures above 100F. I have forgotten what that is in celsius. 40C. Hot, no doubt.
