I was splattering some on a sheet of primed canvas, when I thought I'd "draw" with them. A little spritzing and a little blotting, and that was it. The tree trunk was made by letting the ink dribble down to the bottom of the sheet.
Simplicity is the removal of the useless and the unnecessary--source unknown
