I actually made something for myself -- not to give or to sell, but to keep.

I have small wrists, so ready-made bracelets are always too big for me, and I don't wear them most of the time. But here was this piece of antique French linen, already stitched and too short for anything else, so I added a mother-of-pearl buckle and button, made a loop with embroidery thread, and... perfect fit!







Simplicity is the removal of the useless and the unnecessary--source unknown
