A lot of prep work today for an idea I had to combine stitching with... I'll wait and see it if works first.

Meanwhile, I'm stitching these hearts for a little quilt.

The quilt is draped over the new issue of Somerset Life, to which I happily contributed.

Simplicity is the removal of the useless and the unnecessary--source unknown

  2. I'll have to pick up a copy of Somerset Life! Love the work in the photo! Love the little quilt hearts... And speaking of hearts... I can't wait to see the ones from the last post finished! Also, in my very tiny new workspace (I just got a new job) I have precious little space for art, only a few squar feet of "wall" space on the partitions. I'm going to "frame" the "Hot Weather" post card you sent me with scrapbook paper and hang it on one of the partitions. I'll post pics on my blog when I get it all decorated.
