A Bird in the Hand

March heatwave continues. I'm still adjusting, sleep-wise, to the time change, and this strange weather is making it a little harder. Not being Borg, I cannot adapt immediately...

I go from writing on the computer, to stitching on the couch, to painting at my easel, and back to the writing. It sounds restless, but this is my normal  m.o.

I watched an interesting Canadian documentary on the weekend on the subject of Mess -- people's offices, desks, studios -- the conclusion was that if you do/make things, mess is inevitable, and that my mess is an eco system, an idea factory. Yes, why didn't I think of that?
