In a parallel universe, summer storms are very colourful....
I used watercolours our of a tube, and some gouache, and painted wet on wet. A little trick to disperse the paint is to add drops of soapy water (washing-up liquid) from the tip of a brush into the wet paint.)

  1. I would like a trip to your universe right now!!! We have a flooded basement and it's miserably hot outside. Now that you have heard my whine, I like the picture and appreciate the advice about soapy water. I am doing beginning backgrounds right now :-)

Are you using more color in your pictures lately or am I just beginning to SEE!!!

    Big hugs,
    Suz
