Some lovely old linens arrived today from mantofev and after I got everything out of the way, I did one of my favourite things: I made hearts. It makes me happy to make them! [These have just been listed in my Etsy heart shop]

THANK YOU Colette for the great idea about the cardboard!! I gasped when I read it...and first thing the next morning I dug out my cardboard stash and proceeded to hose it down outside.
I got lots and lots of awesomely neat paper for many many projects! WOW! totally free art paper!
I do lots of little watercolors, etc. as gifts and this new discovery is SO exciting! I cut enough yesterday to do 2 altered art journals. I can't wait to get going on the pages! THANK you again for the terrrrrific idea!
BTW: I am in love with all your gorgeous and create hearts!
    Enjoy your day!

  5. These are really beautiful, Colette. I need to make some sachets for a Silver Bella swap and I am just dreading it because I am not much of a seamstress and want them to be so nice. Simple is so lovely...can I borrow your artistic eye ;-)

  6. The hearts are lovely Colette. Always so many wonderful things to see here. I love the way you use recycled items. I was in an antique shop today and looking at some vintage red and brown striped ticking and it reminded me of your work. I could just see it made into hearts. I love the children's "den" too. Very hobbitty.
