I've been unwell for a couple of days. My body (I always listen to it) told me I needed to rest. I slept a lot the first day, took it very easy the second day and third day. The problem, on the next day, was curbing my restlessness -- which translates into doing something all the time. I shut down the computer, and arranged myself on the couch...and embroidered. I only moved to heat soup for nourishment and make a tisane. It felt very old-fashioned (except for the TV).

If I have one piece of advice to give, it's to listen to your body and give it what it needs. It's very wise, it knows things you're not aware of. It gives you discomfort and pain as a sign to pay attention -- and do something about it.

Today I feel almost 100%.

  2. Bonjour..! I am loving this piece! I do hope you are feeling much better. Sometimes it is good to turn off the computer...I have limited access these days and I find myself doing other things! I don't have a TV either. You would think I would be a lot more creative!

  3. i just wanted to say i hope you get feeling better soon, and also thanks for everything you do through this blog. i've been reading for a while, but haven't ever posted. i've also had my own struggles with illness, and i couldn't agree more about listening to your body. i've made that mistake before and paid for it dearly. keep listening to your body and it will lead you towards health. thanks again.
