Postcard from the edge

My friend Austin and I met at University. We rarely see each other, since he lives in Ottawa, but we keep in touch. Mostly with postcards.

This one arrived yesterday. The message had me in stitches: purifiée à Marseille, or "purified in Marseilles."

Move over, Nick Bantock!

Love it, love it. I have a friend who sends stuff like that too. Thank goodness we still have the postal service because there's nothing better than a little something in the mailbox.

I am just catching up with your posts Colette.....Carey is so right!!!...I am very slack in this department...she has made me feel ashamed!
Fabulous postcard...I love the haphazard way he has fixed the stamps. And no written words..there is no need...the fact that he thought of you is enough!I like Austin!
